The Pinksters

This Biketoberfest one of our group could not be with us in Daytona. We decided to bring our trip to him but we didn't tell him that we were coming.

While in Sturgis, SD, we found out that Dennis is also an actor in local area productions. He informed us that he would be in a production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" when he went home and that he would not be able to make Biketoberfest. So the rest of the group decided to bring Biketoberfest to him. Preparations were made WEEKS in advance and people even close to the unsuspecting Dennis knew about the plot. Even Pink T-shirts were purchased and printed as PINKSTER WEAR!

Thursday morning we headed out to deliver the surprise. We met at Mr. Pinkster's house and all changed into our Pinkster gear. Then we set out for the theatre. The production began and went on and on. We sat for three hours wondering when Dennis was going to awaken to the fact that his Pinksters were in the house. Even others from his work were there to join in the surprise. It finally took to nearly the curtain call before Dennis knew we were there. His Pink Shirt was drapped over the front row seat, just in front of where he stood to take his bow. He was laughing so hard we thought he was going to fall off the stage.

After the surprise, we headed to Taco Mac for drinks and snacks and to plan the rest of our mini weekend.

Allan a.k.a. "Mr. Pinkster" of Atlanta, GA
Allan got his name last year at Bike Week while showing us that he could perfect the Tuck and Roll in one continuous motion. To which the act got some stares of disbelief and a "What was that?" Allan rides wide glide but he has purchased an Harley Ultra Classic just for the 2008 Sturgis trip. Since the trip, he has traded his Dyna for a "Kawasaki Purple" chopper.		 Aleta of Palm Coast, FL
Aleta made the trip in 2006 which was chronicalled as "The Mis-Adventures of Aleta". A hysterical cross country trip that could only become an annual event. After 5000 miles in 15 days she earned "Iron Butt" status. Aleta rides a Kawasaki Meanstreak 1500. 		Richard a.k.a. "Tricky Ricky" of Palm Coast, FL
One of the few photos taken without him flipping the camera a "Bird". Ricky prides himself on his 3 motorcycles and will be riding a "Kawasaki Purple" 1988 Harley Classic. You always have to be on your toes around the Trickster!		 Dennis of Duluth, GA
If you want to know something, it is faster to ask Dennis than look it up. We have lots of pictures of Dennis hamming it up. Dennis rides a Harley Softail called "The Bullet" and says he's made some mean modifications to it.
